New date proposed: 27-30 June 2021
Dear Colleagues
It is with regret that we have to inform you of the Organising Committee’s decision to postpone the SALALS/SAALT 2020 Conference that was to be hosted in June/July this year.
It is with regret that we have to inform you of the Organising Committee’s decision to postpone the SALALS/SAALT 2020 Conference that was to be hosted in June/July this year.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic that has had a dire impact on countries and communities around the world, as well as the most recent announcement by the President of South Africa, prohibiting meetings of larger than 100 people, as well as both international and national travel, we felt it appropriate to postpone the conference.
In order to ensure that we allow for the COVID-19 pandemic to be dealt with appropriately and for matters to return to normality, our proposal is to reschedule for Sunday 27th to Wednesday of 30th June 2021.
More information and detail will be shared with you in due course regarding registration, abstract submission and other important logistical arrangements for the conference.
We trust that this decision carries your approval and support.
